ABOUT ME

Kayaking at Charleston Lake Provincial Park

As an artist, I primarily work with acrylics but have enjoyed experimenting with impasto, mixed media and watercolours over the years. My work is most often inspired by nature and the many hiking trips and kayaking I’ve done while camping in Ontario’s Provincial Parks but also the wonderful landscapes of life that I’ve encountered while travelling across Canada. I’ve been inspired by The Group of Seven, The Impressionists and by my own connection to the natural world and if my art inspires others to reflect and enjoy our environment then I feel my artistic expressions have been useful. My art is a journey of the heart.
